I love street photography. I’ve already got two other photography blogs/sites, so I didn’t really feel the need to create another, but I was playing around with some design concepts last weekend and just felt compelled to create a new site specifically for my street photography.
Mobile Responsive Design and WordPress
As with all the other sites I’m developing these days, this site will work equally well on a large desktop monitor, or an iPhone; and anything else in between.
Also, this means that it incorporates WordPress’ powerful blog capabilities. This makes it very easy for me to post and share images, videos and posts on the site, as well as use those to drive more traffic back to the site.
Scrollable Menu Items
The design for this site is a little unique. It gives an overview of everything on the site, right on the home page. Then, when you click on a menu item, rather than pull up a whole new web page, it just scrolls to that section. That makes the site very fast, which is important for mobile browsing.
Watch the video to get a better idea of what all this means.
Pretty cool, huh?
