Blogging! Yeah, it’s all the rage! It’s not just about penning your thoughts to share with the world, although there is that. Blogging on your business’ website really does help. Significantly.
My Personal Success Story
Don’t worry, I’ll keep this short. Before I started blogging for ImagePerceptions.com, this site would show up on page 3 or 4 of certain Google searches. After just a couple months of continuous blogging efforts I noticed that I had now moved to the coveted “PAGE ONE” of results for those same Google searches. Pretty cool, huh?
Also, the more I blog, the more I have to share on Twitter and Facebook to point the masses back to my main site. Using Google Analytics I found that when I am actively blogging and sharing that information on Twitter and Facebook that those two sites were responsible for about 50% of my site’s traffic. That’s kind of significant.
Okay, this just addresses the “traffic” aspect of how blogging will help you, but traffic is kind of important when it comes to doing business online. There are many other important ways the blog will help your business once the visitors have arrived. It gives you your online voice to build credibility, establish authority, better connect with your audience, customers and clients.
