I finally decided to give Pinterest a peek this weekend. Seems like it’s been gaining quite a bit of momentum and is growing quickly.
As with any of the social networks out there, I’m always interested in seeing how they might be able to help professionals with their business. So, I started looking around the web for thoughts from others out there on how this might be a great new tool for some to use.
Well, I didn’t have to look far before I found this little gem from a very trusted source. 56 Ways to Market Your Business on Pinterest, by Beth Hayden over at copyblogger.com.
Here’s a snippet to get peak your interest:
In case you’ve been living in a mountain cave in Bhutan for the past couple of months, Pinterest is a relatively new social networking site that allows users to create online image collages, then quickly and easily share those collages — called “pinboards” — with other Pinterest users.
It’s fun, easy, and catching on like wildfire right now….…Think those inspiring vision boards don’t result in referral traffic to websites and blogs? Think again. In January 2012, Pinterest drove greater traffic to websites than LinkedIn, Google Plus, Reddit, and Youtube — combined.
I bet that second paragraph got your attention. If not, it should have.
I recommend taking a look at the full article on copyblogger.com.
I’ll be adding my 2cents, bit by bit as I find out more ways to use this new online tool for your business, so stay tuned!
