What Does Your Website Offer Your Customers?
Your website is your online PR representative. It is the face and voice of your business to those surfing the web looking for a solution.
Does your site offer that solution? Or at least, does it get the conversation started? Or does it just talk about how awesome you are, and how great your stuff is? Sometimes it is cool to just show people how amazing something is; to get the buzz started. But just be aware of what does your presentation say to the visitor.
Take a look at your site objectively. I know that can be a little difficult at first, but give it a try. What do you want the site to convey to your potential customers and clients.
Ask Yourself This
Do you want the image and message to be one of…
“We care about what you need and are here to help your situation?”
Or is it more like…
“We are so awesome, and just using our products and services will, of course, raise your quality of life!!!”
Both can be good, depending on what you are offering and what your customers are looking for. It’s just good for you to be aware of the message you want your website to be sending, and is that what it is saying to your visitors now?
Don’t Have Your Site Online Yet?
Then great! You can think about this before you even get started. Putting this kind of thought into the site before it’s developed can help you get the right message out there right from the start and not have to redo things later.
