Productive paths include guidance. Sometimes it’s fun to just take off and go exploring, but in business it’s essential to have goals and a map of how you plan to get there.
When I first started learning to play jazz there my journey included being saturated in the music of artists like Charlie Parker, Miles Davis, George Benson and others. I needed guidance from people I could emulate and learn from. I really find that’s the best way to go with anything I’m really interested in being good at, including business. I’m sure you could write volumes on similar experiences of your own.
