I’m a dyed-in-the-wool Apple fanboy for almost 20 years now and my loyalty is still strong.
And, even though there are these recent dents in their shiny finish…
- I’m not crazy about iOS6
- I’ve heard user complaints about iPhone 5 (keeps me from moving forward from the 4s)
- Heard some questionable things about Mountain Lion (keeps me from moving forward from – yes, Snow Leopard)
I still love Apple and won’t be moving away from it anytime soon.
However, Google Chromebook?
This new machine on the market caught my attention…
- Attractive design (when you’re an Apple guy, yes, this matters)
- Light weight
- Decent battery life
- 3G and Wifi connectivity
- Starting at $249.00 (USD)
Interesting.
It wouldn’t run any of the high production apps that I run so it won’t work for me. But it does have a number of apps that it runs, and would seemingly make a nice machine for anyone who doesn’t need to do a lot of heavy production with their laptop.
What about you?
Would this work for you? I’m interested in what you think, and especially interested in any hands-on reviews.
