Building brand online is crucial to business. What is brand, though? I’ve had some clients that, when they come to me, they believe it’s their logo; their company colors, or the look of their website.
These things are important to a degree. But these are really just aesthetics. Of course you need a professional looking site that’s effective and functional; easy to access and clearly shows that you’re an authority in what you do. That’s just a given; that’s the bare minimum.
But what brand really is, it’s your reputation. How do you treat your customers? What do you bring to the table for them. That’s your brand. Make sure you’re taking care of business when it comes to how you handle your brand. That’s the short game, and more importantly, the long game.
